Also known as Mortehoe Beach, Rockham Bay is a beach of sand, flanked by rocks and rockpools. Most of the beach is covered at high tide. The coastal path passes the back of the beach, but the original path down to the shore has been lost to a landslip. Access is still possible by scrambling down a rough path near the stream and then over loose material lower down. Care will need to be taken if descending to this beach. Some P&D parking can be found in Mortehoe. From here take North Morte Road for about 600 yards to a public footpath (signposted Rockham Beach) which leads to the beach. The distance is about ¾ mile. Dogs are allowed at all times.
