Ilfracombe's Harbour Beach is at the back of the harbour and is mostly sand which is completely covered at high tide. Access is down a few steps. As it's a working harbour, swimming is not allowed. There are numerous shops close by, and P&D parking is available along the southern side.
Larkstone Cove is on the south side of the harbour approach, and is a very small cove of greyish sand and small pebbles, backed by a slipway.
