If you're looking for solitude, Llynnau Cerrig-y-myllt are two remote small oligotrophic lakes on the slopes of Cnicht, and well off the beaten track. A small parking area with space for 10 -12 cars can be found on the single track road along the Nantmor valley at Grid Ref : SH633484.
