Llynnau Cregennan

Llynnau Cregennan are two lakes lying to the north-west of Cadair Idris alongside a lane from Arthog. There is a National Trust car park with toilets on the opposite side of the road. Picnic tables are located on a small hill adjacent to the car park, and it's quite a popular location for both locals and visitors.

There are two ways of getting there, the route from Dolgellau is the better of the two. The lane up from Arthog is steep and naroow with hairpin bends and a 1 in 3 gradient. Both routes have gates which need opening and closing.
