Llynau Mymbyr

Lying at a height of approximately 580 feet abover sea level, Llynau Mymbyr is essentially two lakes connected by a short channel. Lying just west of the village of Capel Curig, it's very popular for paddleboarding, kayaking and swimming. Layby parking can be found alongside the A4086, from where access to the lakes is along short salebrous paths - watch your footing! The image above shows the eastern lake and the images below show the western lake. The mountain in the distance is Snowdon.
