Speke's Mill Mouth is a beach of mudstone pebbles, sand, streams and rocks near the hamlet of Lymebridge. It's backed by high sandstone cliffs showing considerable folding with a waterfall to the southern siide. From Lymebridge, a public footpath follows a track to a large grassed area overlooking the shore. It's possible to drive this track, but not recommended unless your vehicle is built for rough terrain. Parking is difficult, but one or two possible spaces can be found at the start of the footpath. From the grassed area access is down a steep rocky path with two flights of wooden steps which lead onto the steeply sloping rocks at the back of the beach. It's also a good beach for surfing at low tide, providing you know where the rocks are. Dogs are allowed at all times.
