Situated east of Bournemouth's main beach, Fisherman's Walk is a sandy beach backed by a promenade, with the usual groynes at regular intervals. Dogs are not allowed on this beach between 1st May and 30th September inclusive. Facilities here include a cliff lift, toilets, electric barbecues (barbecues are not permitted before 6 p.m.) and a beach kiosk. Lifeguards patrol from the end of May until early September. Attended / P&D parking is available in bays along the promenade. Pokesdown railway station is about ¾ mile away.
