Axmouth Beach lies to the east of the River Axe, and is a beach of mostly flint pebbles with some low tide rocks, backed by unstable sandstone cliffs. Approximately half a mile to the east is the area known as Haven Cliff - an unofficial naturist beach. Some parking can be found in small laybys on the B3172 northwards from the beach. Dogs are allowed at all times.
