Beer's beach is about 500 yards wide and consists of flint shingle backed by chalk cliffs. The main car park is at the top of the hill to the west, and is P&D. Dogs are not allowed on the western half of the beach from May to September inclusive. Beach access is down a steep slipway and toilets are available. The village has a good shopping street with a small stream rushing down one side in a gully.
