Llyn Mair (Mary's Lake) is a 14 acre lake alongside the B4410 near Maentwrog. A small free parking area for about 10 cars is on the opposite side, as well as some roadside parking. A lawned area with seating overlooks the lake and good footpaths lead around to the far side. The Ffestiniog Railway's Tan-y-Bwlch station is a five minute walk away.
